How Many Times Was the Keizer Schoolhouse Moved?

The Keizer Cultural Center wasn’t always meant to be what it is today.

It began as a schoolhouse—serving generations of students—and at one point, its future was uncertain. Along the way, it was moved… more than once… before finally finding its place in the heart of the community.

Today, that same building is home to four organizations, each contributing to a shared mission of preserving history, fostering creativity, and bringing people together.

Soon, you’ll have a chance to experience that story firsthand through guided tours, with a suggested $10 donation helping support ongoing preservation and programming.

The Keizer Heritage Museum is excited to announce that guided tours of the Keizer Cultural Center are coming soon, offering a deeper look into the building’s journey and the work happening inside its walls.
